Things That Piss Me Off
Sunday, May 20th, 20071.) Beauty Pageants for Children – VH1 has some crap on today about these little girls competing in beauty pageants. I would never do this to my child. It disgusts me how these young girls are objectified like this. Especially in the bathing suit portion of the competition. There is absolutely no reason a 6 year old girl should be wearing a bikini. It’s sickening.
2.) Various Food Eating Competitions – There’s almost nothing worse than watching a grown man or woman shove as many hot dogs down their throats as they can in just a few minutes. Or any other food product, for that matter. I see these African kids on TV with flies all over them and their bones pretty much exposed because they have no food, and then on the same channel they show some fat slob from Detroit with his face in a pie. It makes me ashamed to be an American sometimes.
