I wouldn’t call his experience solid. Sure, he has experience, but is experience in being wrong.
Spoke out against the new G.I. bill. Then didn’t show for the vote.
Voted against Martin Luther King day.
Flipped on the Bush tax-cuts.
Voted against establishing a Congressional commission to examine the Federal, State, and local responses to Katrina.
Voted against allowing up to 52 weeks of unemployment benefits to people affected by Katrina.
Voted against appropriating $109 billion in supplemental emergency funding, including $28 billion for hurricane relief.

Maverick my ass.

mccain has SOOO much SOLID experience, he doesn’t need an ageing 3-time loser of presidential candidate on his ticket…..unlike the annointed empty suit.

I wouldn’t consider it scared as much as I would consider it amused. McCain just erased what was his biggest attack.
I also wouldn’t consider it as mocking small town America, I see it more as mocking a moron.

this amazing choice has camp obama so scared all they can do is mock small-town america (AGAIN!) and point to governor palin’s inexperience, even though she has MORE Governing, and actual DOING, experience than Barack. Obama’s pitiful attempt to bring experience to his ticket with Biden as now back-fired as the INexperience of the Dems is on the top of the ticket, and not as a back-up.
